Below is the information regarding the 2023 elections and the vote on the proposed changes/updates to the Constitution and Bylaws.
The positions up for election are:
Vice President Currently Shorty Bowman
Secretary Currently AJ Horan (Interim)
“B” Shift Steward Currently Joe Ponzini
E-board Seat 2 Currently Andrew Lindeman
E-board Seat 3* Currently Ron Tosi
*E-board Seat 3 must be held by a Lieutenant*
The proposed Constitution and Bylaws will be posted to the Union Website and distributed to each station for review by February 8th, 2023.
Voting will take place over a three-day period. No “On duty” voting shall be permitted. The voting location will be at the RaceTrac 10751 W Colonial Dr Ocoee.
Voting dates/times are:
Monday February 27th 0600-0800
Tuesday February 28th 0600-0800
Wednesday March 1st 0600-0800
If you wish to nominate someone, please email UNIONLOCAL3623@GMAIL.COM. All nominatins must be submitted no later than 5p.m. on Sunday February 12th, 2023.
Absentee voting will be accepted via email, that must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Saturday February 25, 2023, to UNIONLOCAL3623@GMAIL.COM. Absentee votes will be accepted from members that are on PTO or time trades during February 27,28, and March 1st. 2023. Special exceptions may be approved for any unique situation that may occur (i.e. forced/mandatory overtime, family emergency, etc)
